JERRY LEE LEWIS
GREAT BALLS OF FIRE

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer JERRY LEE LEWIS, was born on September 29, 1935 , in Ferriday, Louisiana and started playing the piano almost immediately. He rose to fame in the 50's recording for Sun Records, along with Elvis Presley.

In the 50's and 60's Jerry Lee recorded rock and roll hits such as "Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On", "Great Balls of Fire", "High School Confidential", and "Breathless". In the 70's, he went on to satisfy country fans with recordings such as "Another Place, Another Time", "Chantilly Lace", and "Middle Age Crazy".

Jerry Lee Lewis has had many highlights in his career including being the first inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1986), a motion picture biography "Great Balls of Fire" (1989), and a written autobiography "KILLER"(1995). His most recent record "Young Blood" includes both rock and country songs and was released in 1995.

Jerry Lee is married to his sixth wife Kerrie McCarver (since 1984), resides in Nesbit, Mississippi, and is still playing great music for his many fans around the world.
