As much as I would like to, I probably cannot help you with specific information about your father's time with the 453rd. (I was born eleven years after the war ended and have never even been to Old Buc, or personally met any 453rd veteran other than my father!) For information you should look to the 453rd Bomb Group Association's book _The Liberator Men of Old Buc_, or initiate correspondence with the Association itself.
