BBQ Sausages 

Ahhhh! The Sausage sanga....nothing quite compares to this wonderful Aussie delicacy! Each and every Saturday morning in winter, all over the country at kid's sporting fixtures, you are welcomed by the aroma of the BBQ, and they usually sell out well before lunchtime!


You will need.



Method.


Fire up the BBQ, throw on the sausages, making sure it's not too hot or they will burst. When half done, add onions and cook till golden brown. Butter bread, delicately place sausage across middle of bread, diagonally, this is important as the sausage may pop out otherwise, top with onions and sauce of choice. Or slide a few between two slices of bread or on a roll.*tip* Wrap a napkin around the bottom for easy eating!

Australian outback beer sauce
You will need.


  • 1 lg Can Tomato Puree
  • 6tb Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 oz Beer
  • 1/4c Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbs Paprika
  • 1 tbs Salt
  • 1/2ts Black Pepper


    Method.

    Combine all ingredients in saucepan. Simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Great with steak and chops too!!
