Australia has many wonderful and exotic native plants and trees, I hope I have captured the essence of this wonderful country's unique beauty.

TREES

GUM TREE'S are common all over Australia. Many different varieties, with many types of flowers and pods. The "gum nuts" are used to make many unusual 'crafty' items. *Inspired May Gibbs to write and illustrate many children's books with a Gumnut theme!

WATTLE TREE'S are another common tree or bush in Australia. They are truly beautiful when blooming, although allergy sufferers may not agree.

BUSHES or SHRUBS

Below are some of my favourite plants, specially the different varieties of bottlebrush (aptly named), native birds just love to devour the pods, actually they will strip them bare at times.
