Here's the required page for my misc. ramblings...you have been warned...
First off...you want my name, do you? Hm? Well, if you would sign my guestbook like only 1 out of 1000 of you are doing, you would *know* my name already. But for those of you who are too lazy to do so, I'm Beth. So hi! But please sign my guestbook! I like getting feedback! Right now I'm a junior at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, currently planning on majoring in Nutrition and Dietetics. (Yes, I'm one of those people who will lecture you if you eat anything even remotely resembling a cow!) I've been interested in possibly becoming a veterinarian as well, but that would mean majoring in Biology and I don't want to risk that. Might as well major in something I can use and then go back and finish vet school later, right? (back me on this one. I'm horrible at decision making.)
mooooooo! poor defenseless cow. Now I must move on to pets, since I have this little zoo around me :) At home I have *the* most adorable dog in the world, a west highland terrier named Katy, who also wins the award for the Most Spoiled Rotten Dog in the Universe. It's oh-so-fun putting her toys away and then turning around and seeing them all over the floor again. She's worse then siblings! Gotta love her!
Moving on. Besides the Most Spoiled Rotten Dog in the Universe, I also own a cute little fluffy white dwarf hamster named Bianca. (For those of you who knew and loved Bernard, he unfortunately caught pneumonia and passed on. Not before I spent more then he was worth at the vet, however. Ahem. Mom finds that amusing.) She's still getting to know me, but she's got quite an interesting little personality and an expressive face. Sometimes she'll just sit and stare at me though. That's a little disturbing.
Ok enough on the pets, though I could go off on my 8-year-old grumpy parakeet and cannibalistic fish as well. What else could possibly be of interest...well if you've survived this far, I could probably begin quoting Shakespeare and you'd stick around. Hmmm...not a bad idea...*lol* But I'll spare you. I do happen to have a weakness for Shakespeare, as well as Anne Rice, Jane Austen, and books like the Princess Bride and the Neverending story. And I also loved the Tenth Kingdom from the very first episode...it was good for being 10 hours long. But you're just as well off with the book.
I also have this thing for dragons...they tend to be a little expensive to collect but I love the few I have :) Speaking of the Princess Bride and the Neverending Story, they're also two of my fave movies. As well as anything Disney, Austin Powers, or Mel Brooks. I also love Contact, Swingers, and the Matrix...none of which have anything to do with one another. So much for naming a genre. I also love cartoons, the Cartoon Network is my default TV channel. (I love the Powerpuff Girls!) And whenever I get a chance I love to reminisce about the cartoons I watched when I was little...my favorite of which was My Little Pony...hehehehehe. No Barbies for me, thank you.
And music-wise...the easiest way to let you know my weirdo taste is to show you a list of allllll my CD's. *check 'em out* (Apparently I was very bored one day). Let's see...what
else...I also like to draw, though I'm not all that good at it. I put up a few of my
pics though if anyone wants to see. *click here* Okie dokie. I think I'll shut up now. I'm sure later on when I have nothing to do but homework I can think of more stuff to add.
