Rob's Review -

Heavy and deep Marilyn Manson CD and my favorite. This CD has stuck in my head as a kick ass mammajamma even after my mom threw it out. I love all the songs on it some of the best being: Irresponsible Hate Anthem, Dried Up, Tied And Dead To The World, Tourniquet , Cryptorchid, Angel With The Scabbed Wings, and Antichrist Superstar, my favorite of them all being Cryptorchild. It has the perfect mix of sounds, and great riffs. Marilyn Manson is thought by some to have been nothing but a stage act, but when you look past all that, and listen to this CD you start to see he actually is a very talented song writer. After doing this review it re-inspired me to buy the CD, take that mommy!

JC's Review -

Dark imagery, cult-like chanting, and proclaimations of anger and disgust with the world are only some of the elements that make this hard-hitting album so fantastic. Manson truely shows his song writting ability with powerful lyrics, backed up with extremely catchy, heavy riffs. Every song on this CD had something great about it, whether it have a slow, creepy feeling to it, or it be a fast-paced hate-filled tune with booming drums and all kinds of keyboard effects. This twisted, dark CD is a is a strong expression of pent-up rage being released musically. This is a task that Manson and the group pull off very well to form an incredible album.

Jesse's Review -

"Antichrist Superstar" is the darkest album out on the main stream scene! This album contains alot of anger and frustration lyrically and music-wise. This album has been misjuged since day one. All non-followers of Manson catigorize this cd as satanic. No, thats not the deal here. All this CD represents is one of the many steps Mr. Manson has gone through in life. He describes how he sees people and there ideas through his twisted eyes. The Reason this cd is represented as "satanic" is because of the Christians that don't understand his expression, go out and make awful rumors. I think this is a great CD and people should pay attention to the lyrics and not the titles.
