Real big thing's out for a couple of weeks (months?) now. A brillant XTC compilation album (4-cd box) with lots of live takes and previously unreleased stuff. As an XTC fan I can only recommend this to anyone who's interested in great british pop-music. Really nice versions even for me who knows the old releases. The Jacobites "God Save Us Poor Sinners"! Martti recommends this to you! Well here comes something you should check out: Last Friday we've seen the POPTARTS show in K4 club Nürnberg/Germany. Neat little girls playing funny punkrock tunes. Go for their shows. Maybe even the album is good. I heard so. The title is at least cool "Woman Is The Fuehrer Of The World".

Flaming Sideburns in Nürnberg, Zwingerbar. That was damn true ROCK'N'ROLL. These finnish guys rocked sleepy Nürnberg/Germany on a boring tuesday evening. If you ever get the chance to see them - don't miss them!!! Sonny Vincent and Band in Bamberg has been great. Punkrock the way it should be. Something completely different was 22-Pistepirkko from Finland on sunday, 18th of october. Never seen something like that before. Bought the record which is almost as good as the live performance which reminded me of Thin White Rope

Movies, books, people...

Last week (January, 27th) we've been out to see "Velvet Goldmine". Nice pictures, really nice, but not too much more. Quite a poor story, but the pictures... Check "Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas"! It's just like being on tour with the Miracle G(Y)RLz. Hanna managed meanwhile to find a flat in N.Y.C., East Broadway, where she lives with Jayne (formerly involved into Wayne County). If someone of you out there sees her - tell her our best regards.
