Hi everybody!Welcome to my John Waite page!
My name is Beatriz Mariniello,I was born in Montevideo,Uruuguay(south America)and I'm a huge JW fan.Believe it or not Mr. John Waite is very well known here,thousands of boys and girls love his music,and that´s because its quite easy to become a JW fan,that voice,that sweetness,that face...My God,he´s got it all!!!!
For some unexplainable reason,I was only 9 years old,(I was born the 10th of June,1975) when I first listened to ¨Missing you¨ on the radio.But it wasn´t until I was 11 when I became an¨ Official ¨John Waite fan.A few years later,Bad English was formed,Jesus!What a band!BAD ENGLISH and CHEAP TRICK are the best bands I have ever known!!!!Radio stations were always playing-and they still do play-Bad English songs.(Hardly a day goes by when I don't hear ¨missing you¨or ¨when I see you smile¨ on the radio. )I really felt disappointed when Bad English broke up...!=(
A few years later-cant pin-point exactly when-I decided to write him (JW) a letter,(I think it was when Temple Bar was released),and to my surprise,in only 3 or 4 weeks I received a postcard from him!!!It was a dream of mine coming true!It was one of the best days of my life!!
But John gave me more...YOU FRIENDS!I really have to tell you that when I subscribed to the Ignition´s list,I was suddenly part of a huge and great family!So thanks a lot to all of my friends on the list,thanks for all your support.
And again .....Welcome everybody!!!!
