There's
a radio program in Brazil called: Back To the 80's,at Studio 98 FM.They have a top 10 chart of the most requested songs....and this week Every Step of the Way is at
position N.1!!
It was the most requested song!!

Poe's ¨City in the Sea"
THE POE PROJECT II
(1999) is a premier Long Island Halloween event which celebrates an evening of artistry in
dance, word, imagery and song as numerous performances based on the prose and poetry of
Edgar Allen Poe will be presented to the public. This event is a suitable segue to the
Halloween season, which brings out the devilishly fun antics in many of us. The event will
highlight performing artists, musicians, dancers, LI celebrity disc jockeys and feature a
special performance by Blackmores Night, including famous Long Island rock legend, Richie
Blackmore and his Renaissance music Band. The festivities culminate with the largest Long
Island masquerade ball.
All proceeds help fund The Saltare Foundation for the Arts, a not-for-profit, non-partisan
organization dedicated to expanding the arts to all children.
POE PROJECT II (1999) also involves the creation of a two-volume disc set consisting of
dramatic readings and musical interpretations of Poes works.
These contributions include John Waite, Randy Jackson, Felix Hanemann, LI DJ's
including Bob Buchmann (WBAB), Malibu Sue (WLIR). Vic the Latino (WXXP), as well as

announced a performance by John for The Robin Hood
Foundation ( helps families and persons who are not indigent and cannot get goverment
monies after crisis such as a flood or fire but are still in need of assistance)later this
month.
July 25 Ian Mcdonald cd
On the 19th of July there was the
European release of the Ian Mcdonald cd 'drivers eyes.This cd includes 'you are a part of
me' sung by John waite.A fantastic song.
Ian was the former drummer
of Foreigner.
On the cd you can also find songs by Lou Gramm(foreigner) John Wetton( UK,Asia) and Gary
Brooker from Procal Harum.
And
John performed all the background vocals on the New Paxton CD.

King Biscuit Flower Hour album.
Release date will be around
April 15.
John is in the process of
choosing the best performances to include on the CD.
Once that is
accomplished,John will be traveling to NY to sit in on the mixing and mastering.

John and Shane Fontayne have co-written a
track,¨Hanging Tree¨,that will be in the hot new independent film,¨Willie and Me¨.
Also Mick Jagger , Iggy Pop and Dwight Yoakam have contributed songs for the film.

TV.
The

Entertainment,creators of some of the hottest new shows on TV,¨Melrose Place¨,¨Beverly
Hills 90210¨and this season's break out hit ¨Charmed¨,know good music when they hear
it.Not only did they use ¨When You Were Mine¨ on ¨Melrose Place¨,but also included it
on,¨Charmed¨.
Recently they committed to
using JW newest(and unreleased)song,¨If Love Should Find Me¨ into a subsequentt episode
of ¨Charmed¨.This is specially heartening because they are introducing John's
latest music to a whole new generation,not just playing his past hits.

John recently attended the premiere of the hot new film,¨Still Crazy¨.It was
media-mayhem with John doing interviews.
