The following weeks saw things gradually improve between Abigail and Kevin. Abigail found that she was able to relax and work through her problems with Kevin’s assurance that he wasn’t going anywhere. This allowed them to focus on their relationship and the future as opposed to her problems and her past. Kevin was still having problems dealing with Abigail’s secrecy, but he felt encouraged as things progressed nicely between them. If he could stand beside Abigail and help her forget about her past, then he hoped the mystery about her past wouldn’t matter any longer.

That afternoon, Abigail had accompanied Kevin to the arena for their final dress rehearsal before they kicked off the new tour in Orlando that night. It was going to be difficult leaving Abigail in Orlando, but they had agreed that she would fly out to join Kevin on the weekends.

Abigail didn’t want to tell Kevin that she was reluctant to go to the dress rehearsal and concert later that night. But it was important to Kevin to have her there, so she decided to put her fears aside for one day and support Kevin. He was so nervous about what the fans would think about the show and her presence visibly helped calm his nerves. Abigail tried to assure Kevin that the fans would love the show, and she wasn’t just saying that. She had never seen a group pour their heart and soul into a performance like they did, but no matter how much she tried to assure him that the show was great, he still needed to hear it from the fans.

Later that night, Abigail gave Kevin a final kiss and wished him good luck just before they went on stage. All the girlfriends were quickly ushered to their seats in time to see the boys arise onto the stage. Abigail realized that nothing could prepare her for all the screaming, although seeing the reaction of the fans was overwhelming. As the show progressed, she didn’t see the familiar face in the crowd. Abigail was about to find out that her world was going to be turned upside down once again.

When it was all said and done, the fans loved the new show. Abigail and the rest of the girls waited on the sidelines as the group met with the media after the show. It was a relief to see them so laid back after a full week of intense rehearsals. There had been a few technical difficulties, but the show was considered a success. As Abigail stood by and watched Kevin, she never noticed the camera that was taking pictures of her.

Abigail had to admit that she was glad they were scheduled to play another night in Orlando because it would give her the opportunity to spend another night with Kevin. She wanted him to know how proud she was of him.

After the press conference, the group had a short meeting to discuss the minor technical difficulties that were experienced during the show, and then they were all able to go home and get some much needed rest they deserved.

As usual, Kevin was pumped after the show and didn’t feel like sleeping. When they got back to his place, Abigail joined Kevin in the pool, where she very easily got his mind off the concert. Abigail swam over to Kevin and he succumbed as she proceeded to seduce him. He never was one to be free spirited and make love freely, but that night he felt uninhibited as he made love to Abigail on the steps of the pool. He felt like he didn’t have a care in the world. He had a woman that he was beginning to love very deeply and they were back on top as far as their fans were concerned.

That night Abigail went to bed, and for the first time, Frank never entered her mind. She was happy and content in Kevin’s arms. She never wanted the feeling to go away.

Kevin couldn’t help but notice how relaxed Abigail was that night. Something was different. She seemed to slip into his arms and fall asleep right away, which had never happened. He made a note of how happy they were and prayed that they could remain this happy, even with the upcoming tour.

That night, Abigail had a pleasant dream where the world tour was just ending and Kevin returned home to her arms. Kevin had also had a pleasant dream where Abigail told him everything about her past. Neither of them had any idea that their relationship was about to be challenged.
