The new Backstreet Boys single is a classic Backstreet ballad sure to stop 'N Sync in their tracks, worldpop can reveal.
Shape Of My Heart, which was unveiled all over the world yesterday, is an epic love song pushing the trademark Backstreet sound to new heights. The vocals are stronger than ever, and you'll be sure to find yourself singing along before the end of your first listening.
The single is another Max Martin collaboration, with Martin's unique grasp of the English language providing the Boys with some unusual lyrics. At the beginning of the second verse, the Boys sing 'sadness is beautiful, loneliness is tragical'! The group are planning to shoot the video next week with director Matthew Rolston. (already shot over the weekend)
Shape Of My Heart is the second ballad released by the BSBs in as many months,following the limited release of exclusive track It's True in US branches of Burger King. It has not yet been confirmed whether It's True will feature on the Boys' new album Black And Blue, but both songs certainly confirm that the Boys have achieved their goal of finding a fresh new sound.
