EPILOGUE
Three Years Later
Kevin staggered in the door of his and Amanda's new house with a heavy cardboard box.  Sitting it on the nearest counter with a thump, he called out, "Hey honey where are you?"
"Up here," drifted down a voice from upstairs.
Kevin climbed the stairs to find his wife on her knees on the floor arranging some clothes in a drawer of a dresser.  "Hey sweetie," Amanda said getting up to greet
her husband with a kiss.  "Did you get that box in okay?"
"Yeah no thanks to you," he said with mock anger.
"Aww I'm sorry," she answered.  "Will you forgive me?" she said with an innocent looking smile.
"Maybe," smiled Kevin as he kissed her on the tip of her nose.
"Oh guess what Nick called today," said Amanda as they walked back down the stairs.
"He did? What's up with him?" said Kevin.
"Oh he just wanted to catch us up on some things.  He said Bobbie Jean and her husband are expecting their first baby-Nick was so excited to find out he's going to be an uncle.  Oh and he said to tell you that AJ and Annette finally set a date for their wedding."
"Well it's about time," Kevin laughed.  "They've been engaged for two years now."
"Oh yeah I went to the the doctor today-you know how you told me to because the flu is going around?" Amanda said as they began unpacking the box Kevin had brought in.

"Well what did he say was wrong?" Kevin asked as he began to put plates and glasses into the kitchen cabinets.
Amanda smiled and said, "Oh nothing that won't be cleared up in about eight months."
Kevin spun around, dropping a glass in the process, to see his wife standing there with tears on her face and a big smile as he asked, "You mean..."
"Yeah sweetie, we're going to have a baby. You are happy aren't you?" Amanda asked.
Kevin began to cry for joy himself as he sank to his knees in front of her and said, "God yes I'm happy-I'm going to be a daddy!"  Amanda laughed in spite of herself at the goofy yet excited look on Kevin's face as he grasped her around her
waist and laid his head against her stomach.

"Kevin you can't hear her yet you goose," she grinned.
"Or he," he laughed as he stood up and scooped her up in his arms.
"Hey where are you going" she laughed.
"Taking the new mommy up for a nap-she needs her rest."
"Kevin, really-and what about you ?"
"I may just decide I need a nap too," he said as he carried Amanda up the stairs.
"Oh I see is that the way it's going to be?" Amanda said.
"Yep I want it that way," Kevin said as they entered their room and shut the door.
