****One Month Later****
Kevin walked into the club and hoped that Taylor was able to get away from work like she had planned. He was pleased when he saw Taylor sitting with Brian and Sue at a table. This was her first time out in a place like this in over a month. The bruises had finally healed and she had asked Kevin if they could go to a club that night. Taylor was also happy that she was supposed to get the cast off her arm in a week. So here he was watching her from the opposite side of the club. They had spent a lot of time together in the past month and Kevin hoped that Taylor would start letting him into his heart, like she said she would. He had fallen in love with Taylor throughout that month. He finally made his way across the club and covered Taylor's eyes with his hands.
"Guess who it is." Sue said as she laughed.
Taylor brought her hands over her head and felt Kevin's arm, then his chest, and said, "Oh I know that body anywhere. It's AJ right?"
They all laughed as Kevin kissed Taylor on the cheek and said, "Smart ass."
"So what took you so long. I thought for sure you would have beaten me here." Taylor asked, trying to get Kevin going.
"I didn't expect you to be here yet. You said you had some work to finish up, so I took my time getting here. But I will say, I was very pleased to see you when I got here." Kevin said as he moved his chair a little closer to Taylor and put his arm around her. Kevin wasn't going to hold back anymore. He was going to make sure that Taylor knew that he loved her by the time the night was over.
"Well I am equally pleased to see you too Kevin." Taylor said, "But if you will excuse me for a second, I have to go to the washroom."
"I think I will join Taylor." Sue said as they both got up and walked away from the table. "How does it feel to be out like this again." Sue asked.
"It feels great Sue. I have been looking forward to this night for a month now Sue. I know how patient Kevin has been, and I am not going to make him wait anymore. What he doesn't know is that I have already fallen in love with him." Taylor said as they entered the washroom.
"Well I am sure Brian and I will understand if the two of you decide to leave early" Sue said while waiting in line for a stall.
"I don't think we will leave early. I am ready to just dance the night away. Plus Kevin and I don't have to be anywhere tomorrow, so we have all night." Taylor said as she stepped into a stall.
Mean while back at the table Kevin and Brian were ordering drinks for the four of them. "So Kev, you gonna finally tell Taylor how you feel about her?" Brian asked as he took a sip of his Coke.
"You bet I am. Before this night is through, she is going to know how I feel about her." Kevin said. But his thoughts were interrupted when he saw Taylor walking towards the table. He loved the way her black flared tights clung to her body, and how the halter-top she wore, showed off her lean midriff. He could feel himself getting aroused as he watched her.
Taylor sat back down beside Kevin and she saw him looking her over as she was walking back. She went shopping the night before and found this outfit, because she knew it would drive Kevin crazy. He leaned over and whispered in her ear, "Do you realize how hot you look tonight."
"Indeed I do. I did it for you." Taylor whispered back in his ear. Before she pulled away, she gave Kevin a suggestive kiss and asked him if he wanted to dance.
Kevin took her hand and led her onto the dance floor. He looked around and he knew that he had the best looking girl in the place with him. He focused in on Taylor and man could she move. Kevin was thankful for the fact that he wore baggy jeans, because they hid his arousal. The next song to come on was "Too Close" by Next. They started off dancing with quite the distance between them, but it was obvious that they were both eager to close that distance. Half way through the song, Taylor had her arms around Kevin's neck and they were dancing very suggestively. Kevin didn't try to hide the fact that he was aroused anymore. She had to have felt it he thought to himself.
Taylor wasn't sure how long she was going to be able to last, especially if the continued dancing like this for the whole night. Taylor could feel Kevin's arousal against her abdomen and all she could think about was feeling it inside her. She decided to torture Kevin, so she brought her free hand up the front of his body, making sure that she made contact with is arousal, and she whispered in his ear, "I'll look after that later tonight."
Kevin didn't realize that Taylor could be so feisty. He responded by pulling Taylor closer and he trailed kisses down her neck. Another fast song came on, so Taylor and Kevin agreed that they would take a break for a few songs. When they got back to the table, Sue and Brian were just heading onto the dance floor. Taylor went to go sit down in her chair, but Kevin pulled her onto his lap. She put her arm around his neck and kissed Kevin teasingly at first, but Kevin made sure that he deepened the kiss. He brought one of his hands up to her breast and listened to her moan as he felt her nipple harden under his touch.
Taylor knew that she needed to breathe for a second or she would wind up taking Kevin on the spot. She broke free of Kevin's touch and excused herself to go to the washroom. She rushed off to the washroom and she leaned up against the stall after she closed it behind her. She caught her breath and then started to head back to Kevin. When she exited the washroom, she felt Kevin's big arms grab her and throw her up against the wall in a dark corner.
"What do you say we sneak out of here for the night." Kevin said in between kisses.
"Are you just a little turned on?" Taylor whispered as she nibbled on Kevin's ear.
"You know I am. Why don't we get out of here so we can take care of this problem that we have." Kevin said as he took one of her breasts in his hand again.
Taylor threw her head back as he found her nipple through the thin material of her halter-top. She knew she couldn't take it any longer either, so she took his hand and left through the nearest exit. "I'll follow you to your place." Taylor said as she hopped in her car.
In their separate cars, both Taylor and Kevin were thankful that it was a short drive to his place. When Kevin pulled up to his place, there were a few fans waiting at the end of the driveway. He let Taylor through the gate, but decided to stop and sign the few autographs. He didn't want there to be any interruptions.
Fifteen minutes later, Kevin pulled into the garage beside Taylor's car and quickly went inside. When Kevin got inside, he finally found Taylor in his bed. He crawled into bed beside her and put his arms around her. Kevin was concerned when Taylor stiffened in his arms. "Are you ok Taylor?" Kevin asked when he tried to bring Taylor into his arms, but she resisted him. "Come on Taylor, talk to me. We don't have to do anything tonight if you're not ready." Kevin said as he backed away.
Taylor finally rolled over and buried herself in Kevin's arms and cried. She knew it was all an act. She did have fun dancing with Kevin, but when she thought about it, she was terrified. She did love Kevin, but she wasn't ready to go that far yet. She feared that Kevin wouldn't want her.
After about ten minutes Taylor finally got up the nerve to tell Kevin what was on her mind. "Kevin, just let me explain and then I will be out of your hair." Taylor said as Kevin tried to interrupt, but she didn't give him the opportunity. "I will be very honest with you Kevin, and tell you that I have fallen in love with you over the past month. How could I not? You have been there for me whenever I needed you. And I realize that you have feelings for me too Kevin, but I can't let this continue. I can't be the kind of girlfriend that you need and deserve. Kevin, I am damaged goods and you deserve better than that. I think it is just best if we stop seeing each other." Taylor said and then tried to get up from the bed.
Kevin reached up and held on to Taylor's arm to ensure that she could not get away. "It is time for you to listen to me know Taylor. You are correct when you say I have feelings for you. In fact, like you, I have fallen in love Taylor. What kind of girlfriend do you think I need Taylor? Well I will tell you. I need someone that loves me for me and supports me in my career. You are all of those things and more. And I respect that fact that you are not ready for an intimate relationship. I know more than anyone else, how much pain you have endured in the past month. I don't need that kind of intimacy Taylor. I just need someone that I enjoy spending time with, that loves me for who I am and is supportive. And in no way do I consider you to be damaged goods. Please believe me when I say that you are a beautiful person and I saw that a lot earlier than I think you realize. Taylor, I was able to look past all the bruises and see what a beautiful person you really are." Kevin said. Before he continued he put his hand under Taylor's chin and urged her to look at him. As soon as he made eye contact with her he continued, "Taylor, please know that I love you for who you are. If you would just give me a chance to make you happy, I think we can make this work. I want to give you the world Taylor. Please tell me you'll stay." Kevin pleaded with tears in his eyes.
Taylor looked away for a brief moment to hide the tears, but she gave into her feelings and let Kevin take her in his arms. Between sobs, Taylor managed to say, "Yes, I will stay Kevin. I'm not even sure how I would have gone on without you to be honest. As long as you can live with the fact that I am not perfect, then I am willing to give this a try."
Kevin tightened his grip on Taylor and said, "You are perfect in my eyes Taylor. You are far to hard on yourself."
After sometime, Kevin did manage to get Taylor to sleep. He just laid awake for quite sometime thinking. Taylor had come to mean the world to him. He thanked god every day for sending Taylor to him. He was always told that he would find love in the least expected places. He now knew that was true.
