Love With A Price - Chapter 78
One Week Later
Christy tried to relax as the plane pulled up to the gate.
She had just spent the last 9 hours on a plane, flying to Germany. That's where
the boys were currently touring. Ann had spoken to Kevin enough times to know
that it was killing him to not be with Christy and she saw how miserable Christy
was, so she suggested that Christy go and visit Kevin for a few days. After
Christy made a quick phone call to Brian and LeighAnn, she was on the phone
booking herself on a flight.
It just so happened that they had a very rare day off. They
didn't even have to make any promotional appearances. Brian and LeighAnn had
agreed to pick Christy up at the airport and bring her back to the hotel.
Christy didn't even want Carlos to know that she was coming in, just incase he
let it slip. Her coming here was a surprise for Kevin.
As she walked into the airport, she spotted LeighAnn and
Brian right away. She walked as quickly as she could to her waiting friends
hugged both of them. "My gosh, look at you. You look like you're ready to
explode." Brian said.
"Yeah and I still have around another two months to
go. I'm ready for this kid to come any time now." Christy said.
"You still look great! I envy you, you've been sitting
in the sun a lot haven't you." LeighAnn said as they all started walking.
Once they were in the van, Christy asked, "How's
Kevin? Is his cold any better?"
"He's finally starting to feel more like himself. But
now AJ and Howie are sick. It never ends. He was still sleeping when we left the
hotel, so with any luck, he'll still be asleep by the time we get to the
hotel." Brian replied.
Half an hour later, security escorted Brian, LeighAnn and
Christy in through a back entrance. They knocked on Kevin's door and didn't get
an answer. "He's probably still sleeping like a log in there." Brian
said.
That was when Nick and Billy got off the elevator.
"Hey Christy, what are you doing here?" Nick asked as he gave Christy
a hug.
"I thought I would surprise Kevin. I'm just here for a
few days." Christy said.
"Well if you're looking for your man, he's down in the
lobby signing some autographs. Want me to go get him for you?" Nick asked.
"How long was he planning on being down there?"
Christy asked.
"He was gonna go grab a bite to eat in the restaurant,
so he could be a while. I'll be right back." Nick said as he pressed the
down button and waited for another elevator.
"She'll be in our room Nick. Just tell him that we
really need to talk to him about something." Brian said.
Christy accompanied Brian and LeighAnn into their hotel
room and excused herself to use the washroom. She just wanted to freshen up a
little. She smiled when she heard Kevin and Nick walk into the room and Kevin
said, "This had better be good Brian."
Christy quietly stepped out of the bathroom and she stood
just a few steps from Kevin.
"What in the hell are you doing behind my back Nick?
Why do these two have those goofy grins on their faces?" Kevin said,
starting to get agitated.
"It's not Nick's fault." Christy said. She
watched Kevin turn around quickly.
He quickly stepped towards Christy and took her in his
arms. "What are you doing here?" Kevin asked.
"I'm here to see you silly." Christy replied.
"God it feels so good to be in your arms." Christy said a few seconds
later.
Kevin finally turned around and said, "Who all knew
about this."
"Just LeighAnn and I." Brian replied.
"I just found out a few minutes ago, I swear."
Nick said.
"I should have known something was up when Carlos told
me that you guys had gone shopping. So was this your idea?" Kevin asked as
he turned back to Christy.
"Actually you can thank your mother. It was her
idea." Christy replied.
"Well if you guys will excuse me." Kevin said as
he took Christy's hand and led her out of the room.
"Thanks for picking me up guys. I'll see you
later." Christy said as they left the room.
Kevin quickly unlocked the hotel room door and ushered
Christy into the room. "Let me look at you. I can't believe you're actually
here." Kevin said as he stepped back and looked Christy. "I can't
believe how much bigger you've gotten." Kevin said as he rested his hands
on Christy's abdomen.
"It's starting to get in the way now." Christy
said.
"So how long are you here for?" Kevin asked as
they sat down on the bed.
"Just for three days. You guys leave here after your
concert on Wednesday, and I catch a flight on Thursday morning."
"I guess three days is better than nothing. Does Dr.
Kosar know you are here?" Kevin asked.
"Yes, I spoke to her last week. Everything's going
really well with the baby, so she saw no reason for me not to come."
Christy replied.
"You look incredible! Did you color your hair?"
Kevin asked as he ran his fingers through Christy's hair.
"No. It must be from all the sun. I've been spending a
lot of time in the pool." Christy replied.
Kevin took Christy in his arms and said, "You have no
idea how good it is to see you. You're just what I needed." Kevin said.
"Is everything ok?" Christy asked.
"Yeah, everything's fine. I just missed the woman that
I love, that's all." Kevin replied.
"I missed you too." Christy said as she leaned
forward and kissed Kevin.
Kevin pulled away a few minutes later, and said, "It's
amazing what a kiss can do when you've been without for a while. I think we
better stop before we go any further." Kevin said.
"Who said we had to stop." Christy said as she
cupped Kevin's now aroused member in her hand.
"You win." Kevin said as he stood up and pulled
Christy with him. He bent down and took the bottom of her dress and pulled it
over her head. He then reached behind her back and removed her bra and then
pulled her panties to the floor. "Look at the cute little stretch
marks." Kevin said as he traced a finger over one of them.
"How about ugly stretch marks." Christy said.
"Nothing about you is ugly. I still think you look
extremely sexy." Kevin said as he let his hands roam all over Christy's
body. Christy let Kevin love her, and any doubt she ever had was now gone.
Kevin looked down at a sleeping Christy as his mind raced. He couldn't figure out why, but the month they spent apart, had changed things for him. He wasn't as thrilled as people thought about Christy's surprise visit.
