Angelo was born the day before Christmas Eve on December 23rd, 1981 in Pamplona, Spain. "He was a very beautiful child with blond hair," Patricia said. He was born by cesarean section because mama Barbara-Ann had cancer. When he was born she said: "He looks like an angel", which is why he got the name Angelo Gabriel. Angelo means angel in Spanish and the name Gabriel was given to him because it's the name of the angel that told Maria she was going to have Jesus. Seven months after Angelo's birth, mama Barbara-Ann died. "My sisters and brothers have told me very much about her," he says very sadly. "It makes me sad I didn't get to know her." His oldest sister Kathy became like a mother to him.

He was a very peaceful child, rarely complaining. When the family performed, he just laid on the scene with his bottle, while sleeping. Angelo was a very patient child who never fought. "I don't loose control fast," he says about himself. Dan adds: "Angelo is really cool." His birthtown is Pamplona, Spain, where Kelly's lived between the years 1980-1983 before they moved to France, and he was hardly 2 years old then. "My first childhood memories were when I was 3 years old. We lived in a little house in the country in France and a girl in the house beside ours was my friend." Angelo thinks his homeland is Germany; it's there he spent the most part of his life. His gift for music developed early. At two and a half years old, he sang for the first time on stage the refrain to "Hiroshima I'm sorry". After that followed "Old Mc Donald", "Let it be", and "Let my people go". Angelo was five years old when he sang his first whole song by himself, which was "Danny boy". At 7 years old he wrote his first song, "Pee-Pee" and after that he wrote "The Swan". Angelo explains what "The Swan" is about: "When we lived in Holland, a swan always came to our houseboat.

At the same time every day at 14.00, I fed it. One day when I was out sailing with my sisters and brothers, I told my dad to feed the swan. He forgot to and after that the swan never came back." That's what the song is all about. At the age of 9, he began playing the drums. "It was John who taught me, and it was on his little drum-set," he explains. As every family member has, Angelo also got his fair share of work to do. "My job was to take out the garbage and take care of Finbar, our Irish wolfdog," he recalls. As for his drums: "I always build my drum-set by myself every time when we play and check if the sound is Okay." Aside from music, Angelo has many interests: movies, markets, sports. "Joey taught me kickboxing," he says. Therefore, the song "Kickboxer" on the record "WOW" was written. "Kickboxing gets me in the mood when I have to react fast with my body. That's the only time I am aggressive." Angelo´s biggest dream is to one day play together with his drumheroes: Lars Ulrich from "Metallica" and Tico Torres from "Bon Jovi". "And when I get older, I would like to try parachuting," says Angelo.
