Nothing new to report. Just wanted you to know I hadn't completely forgotten about updating the page. Let me know if you hear anything I should report.

7/21/2000-

I was at the Warped Tour yesterday at Suffolk Downs, in East Boston. I had a great time, and there were lots of great performances, including Green Day, and Flogging Molly (I was very impressed with flogging molly, and I'd reccomend them to you. I also met the lead singer at the merch booth, and he's a great guy).  The BossTones?  They were fucking awesome. It was just great. To start things off, Ben was conspicuously missing, and turned up when he fired himself out of a cannon, in place of the usual guy ("Ben's lost his fucking mind," screamed a concerned Dicky).  Seconds later, he was onstage, dancing with his usual enthusiasm. The Bosstones played some old songs and some new songs, and at one point brought as much of the crowd as would fit onto the stage.  The Bosstones were forced to stop playing, even though the crowd  was screaming for more, when the power lines to the stage were literally cut. Apparently, there was some kind of a curfew. The most amusing part of the show took place when Dicky talked to those individuals who decided to throw things at the stage, and instructed bosstones fans to punch them in the face. Some fights ensued, and some real assholes were stopped from hurting others by flinging stuff around.  The show was great, even though it was cut short. After the power was cut Dicky tried to talk to the crowd, though it was hard to hear him without speakers. Unable to perform, he threw into the crowd his tie, his suit coat and his microphone.  For the band's final few songs, they brought out old guitar player, Nate Albert, who proved he's still a great musician. The Bosstones put on a great show; everyone played really well, including new band members Chris Rhodes, Lawrence Katz, and Roman Flysher. The boys are definitely still in top form. As I'm sure you can tell, a great time was had by all.

I'm adding more MP3s. Rare new ones are up now, and I'll be adding more daily, if possible, so check the Audio/Video page often.  There is a list of rare B-sides that I can put up upon request on the audio/video page.  They'll all be up eventually, but if you want a specific one, I'll put top priority on it.

Click here to e-mail me if you'd like your own free Nick's Bosstones Page T-Shirt. I'll even pay shipping. (I'll offer this until there's more demand than I can handle, which probably won't be any time soon).

Hiponline.com has an interview with Dicky up. There are questions submitted by fans, including one from me. That would be the only one from someone named Nick, or the first fan question asked in the interview. Either Way.

Click here for all my Pay Attention stuff. This includes MP3s, realvideo, realaudio, a track list, and lyrics.

And, one last bit of news: Tim Burton (Johnny Vegas) of the Bosstones visited this page. He signed the guestbook, so check it out.

Old News:

There is an awesome bosstones official homepage up at www.bosstones.com.

There is an official bosstones store at www.bosstonesdirect.com.

Dennis Brockenborough, or D-Man, the Bosstones' trombone player has left the band.  He's now in his own band, called Chubby, in which he sings and plays guitar.  The Bosstones new trombone player is Chris Rhodes of Spring Heeled Jack.

After the new album was finished, Nate Albert announced that he's leaving the band. He'll be replaced by Lawrence Katz.

The Bosstones have found a tenor sax player to replace Kevin Lenear, who left the band last year. He'll be replaced by Roman "The Showman" Flysher.
