Andre was born on December 16 in Moscow, Russia in the family of Russian actress and Danish journalist. His mother, Galina Nesterovna, (who was true Georgian Royalty descendant) worked in one of Moscow classical theatres, his father Palle Andersen worked as Moscow-based correspondent for Denmark newspapers. And Andre was raised in the atmosphere of love and caring, especially from his aunt Valentina Nesterovna (sorry, but real Andre's last name by mother-line stills in mystery), who support him in his hungry for arts.
By the age of five in life of Andre begins period, called by him noelse but "torture" - lessons of classical piano-playing at musical school, which lasts for long seven years (*shivers* - StarLight)... By the age of twelve he continue lessons with professor from famous Moscow Conservatory, but the same year heart of future classical genius was infested with poison ;-) of rock - Andre managed to listen "Deep Purple" album - "In Rock"... From this moment Andre realize that his musical lessons can be more than torture - they can lead him to his destiny! Soon "little" Andersen take action in many bands and musical units, from pop to heavy metal, tryin' to perfect his own performance.
But music wasn't Andre only passion. Being raised in highly intellectual Moscow bohemia, he develop other ways of live, and by the age of seventeen Andre decide to try himself at medical career and starts to study at medical college...
After three hard, but intrestin' years of learning contract of his father Palle in
Russia was over, and Andre's family decide to move to Copenhagen. And so was done... But
for Andre moving was the way to another time totally shift his passions. In Denmark he
decide to learn journalism! But his destiny never let go of him, and after one more year
Andre decide to return to soundengeneering, and foundate his own music-studio and begins
to search for talented musicians for his new band. And then it's all begun...
P.S. For two years in a row (1994-95) Andre Andersen was nominated as "Champion Keyboard Player" by rock'n'metal fans in Japan. Seems his long years of "torture" was not that useless.. :-)
P.P.S. Even have his own private (let's talk honestly) band, Andre later in 1998 record his first solo album, called "Changing Skin". Listen it, it reveals much more, than ordinary RH album...
N.B. Aside of "Royal Hunt", Andre work as session-musician in many bands, "Narita" and "Prime Time" for example...
