TOP 10 DYNAMO TIPS

We had a problem finding the actual site at first, it's a long walk from the town center but they do provide buses which are free from the site, and £2 to get back which, for the length of the run is value for money believe me! We highly recommend this fest though and here are my top ten tips for DYNAMO.

1. Just do it, Go there, Experiance it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2. If you like a nice smoke then buy it there, it's cheap, legal, and readily available from wandering blokes.

3. Do not set up camp near the campsite stage/too near the loos/on low ground. If you set up camp near the entrance to your campsite, and you get anything more than 10 mins of drizzle you will end up in a swamp because of the hoards of people walking/squelching past.

4. Buy your lager in a supermarket over there, it's very cheap and very strong, if you are cider drinker, again you must take it with you.

5. Check the weather forecast, you don't know how far you might have to walk, if you've got some idea of whether to take woolies and wellies or vests and flip-flops it will lighten your load. If the weather changes drastically you can always wear the bin-bags you conveniently packed.(!)

6. Take lots of sun protection, even if the weather forecast is bad, the sun over there is very powerful.

7. Don't worry if you haven't got a tent, last year there was a stall that sold everything from tents and sleeping bags, to garden flares and razors.

8. On the other hand, in the campsite it's self there was a cash dispenser, telephones and an information service!!!

9. Food and drink there is cheap compared to British festivals, but take loads of money as the clothes stalls are also cheap! But really, if there is an emergency and you lose everything you own due to natural disaster etc.. You'll be stuck.

10. Drive yourself or in a convoy or hitch if necessary, it's good to get there early if you want to get a decent campsite and some of the early bands. I've friends who have been on the coach tours and had no problem but I like the added convenience of having my car and dictating my pace, personal preference only. When we went it was the first time I had driven abroad, but he shared the driving with our mate Chris. (make sure you get your car serviced before you go, it's worth it.)

So there you have it, let your hair down and enjoy your self. If you've never experienced a festival yet, then you must!
