Test from United Methodist Church heard in the USA
United Methodist Church from Germany, on 15485 kHzwas heard in the USA on December 9 and 10.
Good signal into Northeast Ohio for Test broadcast in English with many IDs, music,
and bishop speaking. Stated the Methodist bishops in Africa are elected within their regions.
Gave e-mail of radio@gbgm-umc.org, postal address of 475 Riverside Drive, New
York, NY 10115, and fax of (212) 870-3748. The "gbgm" in the e-mail stands
for General Board of Global Minisitries, which I assume postal reports should
be sent to the attention of this division of the UMC in New York (?). Also
heard French broadcast on 13685 with weaker signal from 0359-0458 UTC, but it
began to fade badly at 0440. (Lee Silvi, in Mentor, Ohio, USA)
