Here's the frequently asked questions by visitors. Got a question to ask? Fill in this form!
What's your name?
I'm known as Ruth, or Ruthie to my close friends and family.
Do you have an online alias?
Yep, Jazz. You can catch me on irc using this nick.
How old are you?
Why are people so obsessed with age? :P I have just turned 20 on October 11th.
What do you do (job wise)?
I've just finished a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Information Technology
and Systems. I'll be contiuning with Honours this year. This means that I'll
be qualified to be a programmer, web developer, System Administrator etc. It
really depends on the experience I'm building up and the job that I'm aiming
for. To sum it all up, I'm an IT geek and loving it ;)
Do you have any pets?
Personally, I have The Fishes. As a family, we live with Zoe (West Highland
White Terrier) and Micky (Maltese).
What's your favourite drink?
Ice/cold water and Coke
How about your favourite food?
Chocolate (of course!), mangoes and durians
What kinds of music do you listen to?
Classical and jazz.

What are you likes?
OoooO....lots of likes!!! Some of them are: Fresh
air. Open spaces. Computers. Friends. Parties. My pet fish
(I've got tropical fish,
including neon tetras, black neons and a guppy. I had more, but they died).
Traveling. Keeping fit. Shopping. Working on my webpages. Meeting/communicating
with people. Positive people. Smiling. Fuji Apples. Sand boarding. Ufies

Any dislikes?
I'm an easy going person and I don't have any particular dislikes towards anything.
BUT....I do have dislikes towards certain attitudes. These include: apathy to
life, arrogant/narrow minded attitudes, attitudes where people try to force
a beliefe onto you (these include religions and ways of life.
Remember that we are all free individuals and no matter how concerned you may
be with our state of our soul/life, forcing your particular mode of life/religion
IS NOT the answer.), rudeness, selfishness and greediness. Please note
that I dislikes these ATTITUDES...NOT the people themselves.
People can't help being people....BUT they can help their attitudes to life.
If they don't want to do something about it, that's very sad.
Do you have a favourite quote?
I like funny quotes but here's my current favourite one: You
may be just one person to the world, but to one person , you may be the world.
What's on your desk at the moment?
My computer and various
computer hardware, Star Wars mug I won in a competition (holds my blue pen and
Mickey Mouse Pencil from Eurodisney), desk caddy (holds the rest of my stationary),
my collection of erasers, the '3 Monkeys', a gumnut Kangaroo pen holder, a Forever
Friends Teddy Bear and an Eiffel Tower keyrings, a Night Safari mug from Singapore
holding my metallic pens, an empty Soda Water Berry Twist bottle holding a foam
rose I made and various junk that changes daily.
In your moments of quiet...where are your thoughts?
I think about how fortunate I am to have a roof over my head, food to eat and
clothes to wear. As I rush through my busy life day after day, it's quite easy
to take all these things for granted. Now and then, I try to put a min or two
to sit still and calm myself down. Other thoughts....how lucky I am to be loved
by family and friends.
Have you ever taken the Keirsey
Temperament Test?
Yes, and the result is Teacher eNFj,
"The Idealists called Teachers are
abstract in their thought and speech, cooperative in their style of achieving
goals, and directive and extraverted in their interpersonal relations. Learning
in the young has to be beckoned forth, teased out from its hiding place, or,
as suggested by the word "education," it has to be "educed." by an individual
with educative capabilities. Such a one is the eNFj, thus rightly called the
educative mentor or Teacher for short. The Teacher is especially capable of
educing or calling forth those inner potentials each learner possesses. Even
as children the eNFjs may attract a gathering of other children ready to follow
their lead in play or work. And they lead without seeming to do so. Teachers
expect the very best of those around them, and this expectation, usually expressed
as enthusiastic encouragement, motivates action in others and the desire to
live up to their expectations. Teachers have the charming characteristic of
taking for granted that their expectations will be met, their implicit commands
obeyed, never doubting that people will want to do what they suggest. And, more
often than not, people do, because this type has extraordinary charisma"
