This site contains ACM Layer-3 compressed WAV files, which sound
damn near as good as the Layer-3 MPEGs we're not allowed to have
on this server anymore.  Windows
users should have no trouble playing them, but Mac folk ought to check
here for more info on how to hear these swell clips!
Well, if I'm gonna claim that Scott sounds so great, I guess
I'd better put my music files where my mouth is, eh?

recordings. He's never sounded more sumptuous, IMHO...
I Can't Give You Anything But Love:
[293K] - the pace picks up a bit here to a nice loping swing, Scott's
forté [well okay, one of]. Dig the
ingenious little twists and turns in his solo.
Blue Wales: [340K] -
pickin' it up even more with dem ol' twelve bars. Scott's mastery of
extended blowing over blues changes is so well-regarded, "real"
bluesmen have invited him to guest on their records.
Two Eighteen: [682K] -
a good taste of a great little swinger that Scott wrote and I really enjoy.
Scott doesn't write all that many songs, which I think is a shame.
