About Stan
I’ll make the first part brief. Born in Winfield, Kansas, USA; raised in small towns in Nebraska; high school and college in Puerto Rico and Nebraska. Currently living in a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri with my wife, Judy. Three kids who aren’t kids anymore, who play with Judy and I in the band Bytch Fysh.

Yes, besides making music, I have to work for a living! I work for Preco Industries in Lenexa, KS. We make hydraulic die cutting equipment, automatic roll fed screen printers, and laser cutting equipment. I have done programming for Preco for some years and now I’m the Safety Manager and Technical Writer. If you’re curious, check out Preco’s web site.

I have always been around music. I was raised on classical (my father was a piano and organ professor) and I started playing French horn in grade school. For some reason I preferred playing the guitar and I have played off-and-on in rock bands for most of the last 35 years. I’m currently playing bass and keyboards for Bytch Fysh. I have also on occasion played trumpet, tuba, contrabass, recorder, trombone, banjo, bamboo nose flute, and ukulele.
I started mixing computers with music around 1981 when I added an Alf Music Card to my Apple II computer. It could play nine notes at a time with some envelope settings but all voices were square waves. Still, I got a lot of use out of it. The song Tiffany was originally written on the Apple II.
I hope you enjoy my music on this site. I will be adding more as I get it voiced and sequenced, so come back soon. If you have any comments or suggestions, please email me.
