Shane worked with producer D.Huff for four years until Huff finally said ¨I think you are ready¨.
After that Shane signed with Mercury,which is for Minor the best label in Nashville.
After that Shane and Huff went to the studio and made the record.One of his first projects was making the music video for ¨Slave to the Habit¨ which was recorded in LA.
All the performance and footage was shot on top of the Frontier at Fifth and Main downtown.
They also went to the desert to shoot all of the stuff where Minor was on top of the tanker truck.
Shane was up there while the truck was going 50-60 m.p.h.
After that Minor rented a bus and started a radio tour.
First Live performance: Nashville,for Mercury Records.
Then performed for the Chancellor Company.
He also went to a station in Tampa,where lots of people called in saying how much they loved the songs.
Shane also visited some S.Fransisco,Salinas,SJ,and Sacramento stations.
In Salinas he received 75 calls for his first single ¨Slave to the Habit¨.
This beautiful and tallented artist was born and raised in Modesto California,and he has been singing in public since age four.
Shane is a former rodeo bull rider,and he was also a cop at L.A.P.D. but as he said...¨I was never cut out to do that¨
He is a single father of a 14 year old son,he wants to make people happy through his songs.He admits that despite the fact he loves music he still gets nervous...¨I get nervous and feel the butterflies coming¨.
He also said: ¨I know that all my experiences will really help me with the peolpe that I will come in contact with through my music¨,If I could just reach people through my songs or just reach one person and maybe change their life, or make them feel good about themselves, or maybe change something about that person that would lead them away from an abusive life, that song or music could give them hope. There is hope in songs. You've heard the saying that music is like food for the soul. Well, I know that, and it's wisdom for me. I've been there."
