Shane Live at St. Louis County Fair

Venue: St. Louis County Fair and Air Show at Spirit of
St. Louis Airport in
Chesterfield, Mo.
Crowd: This was a free show with your admission to the fair. It was sponsored
by one of the radio stations in St. Louis. It was a bring your blanket and
sit on the ground show. Yankee Grey opened the show around 6:00.
Show: Shane took the stage around 7:15. He sang for about an hour and fifteen
minutes. He sang everything off of the CD except for "How Many Times" (I
think) and two other songs, "Walk This Way" and one that I think was callled
"I Give Them What They Want". It was a small crowd but they really liked him.
Boy can he move on stage! He was really into the show. He came and sat on the
edge of the stage for "Sliver of the Moon". I have to say that I was
really impressed with Shane's band too. They were really good!
Outfit: Now on to the important part :) Shane was looking VERY good in a
black short sleeved top, black jeans and black boots with silver rings on the
sides (Harley Davidson Boots as someone tells me).
After Show: After the show Shane stayed and signed in the radio station's
tent. I have to agree with whoever said that you have not been hugged until
you have been hugged by Shane! He was so nice! He signed my CD, talked to me
for a little bit and posed for a picture. He was so sweet! If you get a
chance, you have to stay to meet him.
All in all, it was a really great evening. Shane put on a great show and was
a pleasure to meet him.
