| Talking About Arlibido | "After two CD's and a video with my last band, Vertigo, I was calling it quits. After meeting DJ and Jesse in October 1997, I had a change of heart. Their enthusiasm and talent inspired me. I started writing again - a lot. I found that the thing that had bothered me about the music industry before was its lack of honesty. I made it a priority of mine to write honestly for this band - no matter how "ugly" that made the subject matter. The result wasn't so much �ugly' as it was �human.' I've spoken with many people who claim to have been instantly able to relate to the music. That's a victory for me - I figure if it's really honest, then it must relate to somebody. Maybe that's part of the reason for our overwealmingly supportive fan base. Or maybe everyone just likes to dance." |
