Yes, sorry to say, the Rhoads V has been sold. Mike is a lucky man, his wife,
Fireperson Lisa, bought it for him for Fathers Day, and according to her she
let him play it for hours...until nearly bedtime. WOW!!!
Now that I have my project Les Paul put together I don't need this guitar
anymore. It will make someone a fine player. There are no problems with
this instrument and it has the high quality that is typical of Ibanez.
Feels and plays great.
This is the guitar I'm selling. It is an '85 Ibanez Pro Line Series,
Jackson/Randy Rhoads "V", the color is black (scan came out looking blue)
with a rosewood fretboard, locking nut, tremelo (the bar is missing, $7 from a
dealer), micro-adjustable bridge, 2 humbucker blade pickups, new strings &
original hard shell case. The condition is 8.5/10 with some laquer cracks (not
to the wood) and just a few chips (BB size) through the paint. The neck
(unfinished) is perfect, it is straight and undamaged and shows no wear. The
frets (22 of them) and fretboard show a little playing wear but are in excellent
condition. The case is scuffed and has a 4 inch tear on the top side, the handle,
latches and hinges are perfect. For a 14 year old guitar that has been out of it's case
it looks and plays fantastic. The price is $250. Will consider offers and trades.
