I bought this amp in the early 70's, along with the '65 Stratocaster, from a fellow who had his Dad buy them for him and then just left them in hiscloset for 5 or 6 years.
The serial number is A10211
The date code is "OH" which means it was mfg is Aug. 1965
It still sounds GREAT!
The amp is all original, including the footswitch. It has the original caps (as far as I know), grille cloth, tolex, tilt-back legs, speakers (blue label Fender Musical Inst.) and handle. The casters were put on by me about a month after I bought it. It seemed like a good idea back then, I could barely lift or carry it (well, I was only 16). Nowadays purists are disgusted by the wheels since they aren't original.
