Finger Picking Patterns 2

   4 beats in a measure, here the 1st 2 notes
   played are quarter notes, so that means
   that they get a full beat. That leaves 3
   beats left to work with. The rest of the
   notes are all 8th notes played on the up
   and down beats:

   This is the same type of pattern that was
   used in the song: Dust In The Wind

   Hold your pick between the thump and 1st
   finger so it will leave your middle, ring
   and pinky fingers free to finger pick.

d=down with pick
m=middle finger
r=ring finger
p=pinky
