Fish Traps

Fish/minnow traps made by Gator Buckets set out for 24 hours in this NC coastal plains pond.

Two Toed Amphiuma

Amphinuma means. Large eel like salamander with strong jaws and large sharp teeth that can bite viciously. Its skin is slippery and difficult to handle. They can grow to about 3 feet in length.

Carolina Bay Pond

Small Carolina Bay crater pond on a sand ridge in the coastal plain.
