A Glance,
A Smile,
A "See you tomorrow",
A Slam of a door,
A turn of a key,
A revving of an engine,
To impress me,
A wave goodbye,
A Glance,
A sharp turn,
A Crash,
A cry,
A Scream,
I run,
To See,
You lie there,
Lifeless,
Cold,
A Cry,
A rose,
Upon your grave,
A knife,
A life,
A memory,
Of you,
A Slash,
A drop of blood,
Then a waterfall....
Another Slash,
A Shriek,
A rememberance,
Of you,
A picture,
In my hand,
A slash,
A cry,

Walking alone in the dark,
gun close to my side,
stop and look around me,
bombs exploding, constant firing,
The sounds creep like a knife through my heart

through the mud,
slowly...quietly...
tighten my grip on my gun,
wipe the red rain from my eyes,
try not to think about death..
continue....

Stop, look up...
gun pointing at me,
please don't kill me...wait...please do..
drop my gun,
staring into the eyes of the generic grim reaper,
his eyes dark and cold,
mechanical..a killing machine..
no chance, give up,
bombs exploding, constant firing.....
red rain seeps from his hand,
look in his eyes one last time,
turn around...run away...
pain..
cold mud surrounds me,
Silence.
