ANGER WITHIN CD and show reviews

"Anger Within(U.S.) - "Rise From the Violence" CD (2000 self) This band I feel so bad for after they were gaining some respect in the underground with some successful demos.Wulf Morris and company(new personnel and mentioned to be finally solid after 6 years!)have returned and stronger than anything I have heard by them with this new 9-track CD of punishing aggression, human issues and poltical corruption(really?..haha!!) that just pushes the music to a level higher than they ever were and if you dig stuff like Biohazard,Chum,Turmoil with a more vocalled Sevendust, forget whatever demos they already put out! This by far kicks more ass than an Amish Dad disciplining his kids for looking at skin books! If these guys don't eventually get an indie/major reply,I need to go postal! 'nuff said!" Wayne Klinger - Quintessence 'Zine

"Ultra-heavy rhythms and rapid-fire guitars offer background for guttural vocals that are apparently concerned for the condition of today's America." Jon P. - Listen.com

"Anger Within ... Another amazing show by these masters of metal angst. What can one say about Wolf and the boys? Showing up in a West Virginia Brewing Company van first off was a major crowd pleaser. These guys really know how to get a crowd of drunks jumping. Severe injuries resulted to several crowd members during there performance including; beer in the eye, bruises administered by mosh pit master "Bug", and a slit wrist courtesy the chandelier. I advise everyone to go to a A. W. show if you can these guys are Gods of Metal! True!" - Gasm Website

“ANGER WITHIN - Rise From The Violence:  Excellent metal combining the styles of early Sepultura and Machine Head. Heavy and angry with a mean groove. The standout, in my opinion, is the slower, dragging song "Life Flow" which has sort of a Crowbar meets Napalm Death feel to it. Not bad at all!” – Paranoize Magazine
