I definitely feel that this album took the least of my voice, but more of my soul and even more of my heart -- everything was relaxed and soft. My son was by my side and we had a great time. It feels like I made such a difference in my son's life and nothing else matters. I want to be more successful as a mother than I am in show business.
-Celine: More peaceful and more complete. I don't feel like I have to push things or force things. I feel like everything is more relaxed.

Celine's comment about the Olympic controversy were published in the New York Post newspaper:

"I find this situation devastating and unacceptable". "These athletes train all their lives for the chance to compete for the gold medal at the Olympics. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Regarding Gougne, Dion raged: "When you are an Olympic judge, you have the responsibility to be fair and act professionally. Nothing outside of the athletes' performance should influence your vote. As [husband] Rene [Angelil] and I watched our fellow Canadians compete that night, we were so moved by their performance. We were sure they had won and were devastated when the decision was announced.

"I am so proud of how [Sale and Pelletier] have handled the situation," Dion said. "These two incredible athletes demonstrated the true spirit of the Olympics as they stood there on the podium with their silver medals and bouquet of flowers. They had tears in their eyes and they knew in their hearts that they had won. And the whole world did, too."

Celine Dion's first release in over two years, "A New Day Has Come"(her 8th English album) reveals a complimentary new album for the refreshed, recent mother.  "A New Day Has Come" seems to be a soft and gentle breath that sheilds our ears to the world's problems, through song as our country looks hopefully to a changed, but stronger future.

The lyrics were also written about he birth of her son a year ago:"The world thought I had it all / but I was waiting for a miracle to come."

Ric Wake's radio remix of "ANDHC" opens as an Enya-styled whispering as it moves into the uptempo background of the song. It was written by Aldo Nova and Stephan Moccio in an uptempo like a graceful dove flying everso gently upward.

This album edit comes in a beat that allows Dion's voice alone to fully reveal the song's underlying message.

On both of the "ANDHC" versions, Dion voice embraces a very subtle performance - as to  dramatically direct the track's real emotion, but still be delicate enough to offer a unique comfort to our listening ears.

Celine has completed  another photo session in late January for the new album with photographer Patrick De Marchelier. Patrick has created adversting campaigns for Revlon, Chanel, Calvin Klein...etc.
Epic is now running a contest (HERE) --and 5 lucky winners will receive Celine's  new album.

In a 7 Jours magazine article the,  Celine's stylist(Annie Horth) said that the "A New Day Has Come" video will be produced in Florida in a couple of weeks. The stylist also said that Celine will not have any major changes in her look or image. Annie Horth also helped pick the photos to be used for the marketing of the new album. The article also implied that Celine may appear to perform "Sous Le Vent" during Garou's May 25th concert at Molson Center .
Celine's new single  "A New Day Has Come" may hit the radios airwaves on Feb 5th.
On Jan 8th, 'www.ladepeche.com' reported that Celine and Rene Angelil have won the lawsuites(against France Dimanche and Ici Paris). The magazines must pay 11,000 (Euros) to them for the damages to their private life and images. The story that these tabloids published (early in Celine's pregnancy)said that the couple found out her unborn baby had an "atrocious disease", and that Rene was shocked to tears.

Celine Dion's first English album since 1997 will have a preview about a week before its release time during  a network television musical special(1 hour).
Her new album "A New Day Has Come" will be released worldwide on March 11 (Epic lable), along with containing songs produced by Walter Afanasieff, Robert "Mutt" Lange, Christopher Neil, David Foster, Humberto Gatica, Ric Wake, and others.
In late January, the first single("A New Day Has Come") will be released to radio.
Celine Dion says, "I hope this album will be soothing, a little shoulder to lean on."
"A New Day Has Come" is a ballad written by Aldo Nova and Stephan Moccio and also produced by Afanasieff. It will be the vocal appetizer to Celine's 600-show engagement(3 year) at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas(debuting in March 2003). She will perform in a theatrical show directed by Franco Dragone (Cirque du Soleil) at a 4,000-seat arena with a Roman Coliseum design that was  and built especially for her show.

Celine Dion's forthcoming album, "A New Day Has Come," will be launched with a one-hour network TV special. Billboard magazine reports that Dion's first full disc of new music since 1997's "Let's Talk About Love" is to be released worldwide on March 11, and that the TV special will air around the same time. The first single, expected at radio later this month, is the title cut, a ballad written by Stephan Moccio and Canadian music veteran Aldo Nova.
Collaborating with Dion on the new album are producers Shania Twain's husband Robert "Mutt" Lange, David Foster, Christopher Neil, Humberto Gatica, Walter Afanasieff, and Ric Wake, the report said.  Dion is also moving ahead with plans to star in a Las Vegas spectacle at Caesar's Palace The show, designed by Cirque Du Soleil's Franco Dragone, will be presented inside a replica of the Roman Coliseum. It is due to debut in March 2003.
