London Astoria - Thursday 02/03/2000....

Support Bands - CLUTCH + CO.UK
Caught the last song of Clutch apparently all the way from America as I walked through the door and can only say heavy, very heavy. CO.UK next, good energetic Irish band, but must admit had only heard one of their songs before. The main event, Therapy? hit the stage like an action scene from an Arnold Schwarzenegger move, Andy screams "gentlemen start you axe's.." and the roof was taken off. Andy was well pumped up from the off, and wanted everyone in the crowd to join in. Check out the MP3's section for Andy,s quote on the 'You Fat Bastard Chant'. Yes once again Therapy? asked the crowd to sing certain song from Troublegum, they played, you sang sending three mikes into the crowd, for the pit members to fight over, did I hear anyone singing....!, with the mike..?. Both Andy and Martin went for a surf through the crowd during the gig and managed to get back on stage still breathing, which is no mean feat. Once again Therapy? put on a show second to none which was enjoyed by all present. Therapy? are still and will always be a no bull in your face good old fashion enjoy every minute rock band.
Get along to the next London gig and check out Michael McKeegan who should have become Michelle after his sex change operation as Andy told us, but don't worry, "he will still rock like a fucking bastard...!"
