Supported by Cherry Falls and Thee Unstrung
I've been going to gigs for over 10 years and thought the two support acts were the most un descriptive bands I've ever seen. They weren't partically bad or anything, they just weren't anything, far to middle of the road for me, Coldplay, Keane ish etc.
Now Feeder on the other hand, although themselves have seemed to moved more towards the main steam, thus the choice of the support bands, still have a variety of music to play at gigs both for the hardcore and more recent fan base. It was very hot in the venue and Mark partically looked knackered by the end of the set, but was he on good form or what. Feeder were using a back drop screen to show various pictures and video's during the set, and various camera, one on the drum set, one on Taka's bass and one in front of Grant and Dean were also used. These were really effective and seeing Taka bass neck while he was playing was great, it also allowed Mark to play up to the crowd, getting them to sing and chant by using his sweet band, but pringing it close to the camera. I would have liked to get some photo's of this but my camera had been deemed to good by security to allow into the venue, well they were nice enough about it, my wife had it in her bag, if I'd had just had it in my pocket there wouldn't have been a problem, oh well, one to remember. For me the highlight of the set was Bitter Glass, but yet again another energetic performance by Feeder, excellent show.
