London Mean Fiddler - 15/05/2003....

Support Bands - 3 Stages Of Pain, Miss Black America
Support bands, both not really
my thing, but love the Bruce Springsteen thing going on with the lead singer in the 3
Stages Of Pain, and the Placebo wanna bees of Miss Black America, apart from that nothing
special.
Therapy? hit the stage well up for it, the new slimmer Andy with both
himself and Michael supporting new hair cuts, Michael is now almost bald. The crowd
goes mad, and the sardine can explodes, this place was packed, and with the raised level
of the pit, it made it impossible for me to see Neil behind the drums from my stack
blocked view, after getting pushed around all over the place. Were there some fat bastards
here tonight or what, they made Andy look almost anorexic...:) . Andy explained Therapy?
now have an Anglo/Irish thing going on with Neil also being English, as they start to pump
out the Church Of Noise. I though all the new stuff transferred excellently live and gave
it even more of an edge. So I finally get a glimpse of Neil whacking those drums like a
mad man, during the on-core, loved the way he stands up over the drums and surveys the
area, when he's not playing. Again this was a great gig although a little uncomfortable at
time, just getting old, bollocks, high lights for me were Rust where the 3 Guitarists were
pogoing in unison, wicked sight and that song kicks arse, and then when Martin played
standing on the stacks during Screamager and then jumped into the crowd, fan fucking
tastic.
