Support Bands - Ricky Warwick, Nixa
Again Ricky Warwick went down well and also thought Nixa were well worth
checking out.
Arrived early, stopped by security at the door to checking out the bag I had
that contained the T? jacket purchased at the Brighton gig, that I was to see
Diamond Dave about. They seemed more interested in my T? leather jacket from '94
that throughout the night seemed to attract a few comments. Also met Petri &
Kati at the gig finally as missed them at Brighton. Had a chat with Dave who
swapped the jacket as promised for an XL and also said he had been talking about
me to the guy's and my request for raffle tickets for the T? garage clearout
stuff that was mentioned on the WOM, cheers again Dave fingers crossed.
By the time T? hit the stage the venue was nearly at capacity and it was
starting to get hot, I was just in front of the mixing desk to the right hand
side. Throughout the night there was loads of moshing and jumping around by the
crown, what a great show, similar set-list to Brighton with one track change.
Andy said that this was the venue that he asked Neil to join the band, he also
informed the crowd at the start of the oncoure that this show and one other was
being recorded for a possible live release to mark the 20th anniversary, this
heightened the audience participation and volume.
