Guilfest 06 - 16/07/2006....
Therapy? at Guilfest Sunday 15th July, Rock Sound Stage, hot, hot, bloody hot, one of the hottest days I'd ever seen Therapy?, people were trying to find any shade they could, prior to the other bands playing. Even better was the fact that they were playing in a darkened out, tent, that held the humidity like a sponge holds water. Therapy? Hit the stage and ripped out Sprung, the lighting was mad, making it quiet difficult to keep track of the guys on stage, but as always they kicked arse. Tent held about 500 I'd say ramped, but as T? were headlining this stage, as Billy Idol was also playing the main stage, it was under that, there was still a pit and people still seemed to have enough energy left to rock out. Andy seemed to forget the lyrics to Polar Bear, and not for the first time I bet.. :-), Neil was excellent as always on the sticks, and the Evil Preist still attempted to jump around like a mad man. The intro to Rock You Monkeys, was very odd, Andy seemed to be playing quiet a lot of random notes, but it seemed to work, before the electric part kicked in, my particular highlight was Teethgrinder. Men's underpants were thrown on-stage and Andy said only in Therapy? land could this happen, another great gig and well worth putting up with the heat and humidy to see. .
