The London Guitar show was a great opportunity to see and meet Therapy?, again :-), So this just couldn't be missed. By the time we got to the venue and realised the signing started half an hour earlier, then after spending 10 minutes trying to find what stand the band were on, thought we must have missed them, but as luck would have it, we hadn't, the whole thing was running late, so I asked Michael when they were due on and he confirmed we had plenty of time.
So met the guy's got a few bits signed then made our way into the hall ready for the gig. Sat a few tears up and there we're many seats left done the front.
The gig starts, we are Therapy? Andy says "I am Alex Hurricane Higgins, this is Dennis Taylor, and on drums Ronnie Sullivan have a nice day"..and then they rip into Sprung. Quiet strange to be watching Therapy? and sitting down, but that's always good for recording, but could I get the misses to sit still and stop bouncing around, women.. :-). Remember this was a Guitar show so the audience was very mixed, and so were musical tasks, so I think it also seemed a bit strange for the band, with people milling around and coming and going. Rain Hits Concrete was dedicated to Wembley Stadium. Overall a great day and a very tight performance by the band, and it was great to hear some of the new stuff live.
