Never caught any of the earlier bands just arrived pitched the tent, in the rain...! checked out the location of the stage and had a wander around, just new they seemed loud. Therapy? hit the stage at about 21:30ish after a rather long instrument check by the roadies, at first though I might have been a bit early as the usual T? bass stack couldn't be seen, but noticed Andy's guitar getting tuned, so new T? were imminent. Most of the so called skater punk crowd seemed to warm quiet well to the guy's, and I think they went down really well. This was a very different gig for me as I saw the hole thing through a video camera screen, a very weird experience, but at last I had the change to record a T? gig and re live it later. I'm into extreme sports but wouldn't have gone if T? weren't playing, but as you couldn't get a ticket just for the Friday night gig, thought I'd treat the misses. Not sure why but the crowd though it was a good idea to throw half full plastic drink bottles on stage before and during the set, guess this was because they were enticed by those Dirty Sanchez nuts. I really wanted to hear some of the new stuff and I wasn't disappointed. 'Rise Up' and 'Die Like A Motherf**ker' were included in the set and the second track especially gives Andy an excuse to have a bitch about someone, tonight it was the turn of the president of the U.S.A. Both tracks rock and well wet my appetite with the new album due later this year. Overall this was not the usual T? festival, but respect to the guy's for doing it, the hard core T? fans were treated to the usual 110% from the guy's, and as for Mr Cooper, what can you say about his drumming, excellent, amazing, mind blowing etc, need I say more.
