Q & A
Why do you guys do what you do?
We love music, and we love to play, but most of all we love you kids.
We love to talk and hang out with you, so if you see us at a show, feel
free to come up and say hi.
I've heard the EP, how long did it take to make
it?
It took 56+ hours of actuall recording, and another 20-30 of mixing.
15 hours were also put in to the CD art. If that seems like a long time
it's because were slow.
Where does the title "Lessons in Patience"
come from?
It comes from the album! No really, making this
EP was really trying for us. Working that closely with people for that
long can really strain relationships. We really learned a lot about patience
and working together with a multitude of opinions and ideas. Even though
it was tough, we're stronger because of it.
$5 rules! How come so cheap!
We wanted as good a quality EP as we could, for as cheap as possible.
We also got a deal on the recording and mixing. It could have been cheaper
but the duplication costs an arm and a leg.
How did you do the CD art?
The concept was done by all of us, the art was done by Ryan and a mixture
of the rest of the band depending on who was available. The website was
done by Ryan as well. We usually do everything and every idea as a group.
What about the songs?
All songs are also a collaboration, both lyrics and especially music.
Even Rob adds to the music.
What are your lyrics about?
A whole variety of things. Most everything is from a life experiance from
one of our members. However, everything is driven by our personal belief
in Christ, and every experiance we have is shaped by that. Sound wierd?
