What's That In Your Hand?
Lord, I just can't do it;
You just don't understand!
Then Jesus whispers softly back,
"What's that in your hand?"
Moses said, "I have a rod;
A sign for You to show
That now, O God, it is Your will
To let Your people go."
David said, "I have a crown.
Thy Word, O Lord, is sure.
Thy law, dear Lord, is my delight
And keeps my pathway pure."
Paul said, "Lord, I have my life.
I place it in Your hands.
The gospel story will I take
To home and foreign lands."
You think you don't have what it takes?
Then you don't understand.
God supplies you everything;
What's that in your hand?
Sometimes...
...we may hear the call of God, and at the same time not understand that He has already equipped us to follow His leading. He will never lead us into a situation that we can't handle! Trust Him!
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5
