God, It Must Have Broke Your Heart
God, it must have broke Your heart
To see Him bleed and die;
And when You turned Your back on Him,
I'm sure I heard You cry.
God, it must have broke Your heart
I know You love Him so,
And sending Him to die for me
Your tender mercies show.
God, it must have broke Your heart
To see things go all wrong,
For Satan had deceived the man
And now deceives the throng.
Oh God, it must have broke Your herat
To send that man to hell,
But rejecting Christ as Lord
Brings torment none can tell.
God made the ultimate sacrifice for all mankind. An innocent man took our punishment. Without Christ, there is no hope; there is no eternal life.
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.
I Peter 3:18
