My Christ

There is a fountain full and free;

It never has run dry.

It started one day when a man

Came here to earth to die.

He died an agonizing death,

For He was crucified.

When He had said, "It's finished now."

He hung His head and died.

At the end of three more days

He rose up from the grave.

He won the victory over death

With life and power to save.

One day He's coming back again

In power for all to see.

He'll win o'er Satan once for all

To make His people free.

That man is Jesus Christ, my Lord,

And as this path I trod,

He holds my hand and teaches me;

He's man, and yet He's God.

Because God sent His Son, Jesus to die for me, the Holy Spirit now lives in my heart.  He has set me free to live in His grace and He teaches me something new every day.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.  To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

I Peter 5:10,11
