Not My Will, But Thine

Lord, what would You have me to do?

I'm tired and weary, it's true.

But I will not quit -

I'll not stop and sit -

For I can do all things through You.

Lord, what would You have me to say?

I'm trying my best not to sway.

By Your Word I will stand -

And let You take command -

And so by Your side I will stay.

Lord, what would You have me to be?

I know that in You I am free.

Your will I will do -

I'm trusting in You -

To let Your love shine through me.

When you know you're doing what God wants you to do, but you're tired and grumpy; say (in faith) that you'll do it anyway.   Get through the rough time and God wil grant you a second wind to keep building and growing.

For we are labourers together with God; ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

I Corinthians 3:9
