Things Weren't Just Right
Because you're so faithful,
I thought I just might
Say, "Thank you," for loving me
When things weren't just right.
I see how I've shamed you,
And how you still cared;
And though I was weary,
And terribly scared,
You came to my rescue,
Brought day to my night.
Thank you for loving me
When things weren't just right.
So much I have done wrong,
But you patiently say,
"Let's try it again,
But a much better way."
So with you to guide me
With faith as my sight,
I say, "Thank you," for loving me
When things weren't just right.
As children of God, we understand the true meaning of "second chance".
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
