Quality

Good audience

Disc 1, Track 12 is The Edge singling Golden Earring's "Radar Love." You can hear the instruments and the vocals very clearly. You can only hear the audience between certain songs and also during the melody o some of the "softer-sounding" songs. Keep an eye out for this one! Disc 1 is yellow with black letters. Disc 2 is black with yellow letters. The front cover features a head shot of Bono smoking a cigarette. The booklet features four pages of Adam, Bono, Larry, The Edge, and a complete tracklist. The inside back cover features the complete PopMart tour dates. Overall, a very good CD with good sound quality, yet compared to other better bootlegs, it is rather soft in terms of loudness. The cover folds out and one side has the four guys, each in photo by themselves. Adam's and Bono's have the tracklisting printed over the photo. These four photos also appear in the '98 PopMart Australian Tour Program - whether it's the same elsewhere is beyond me. Upon opening the case, the inside bottom of the CD case lists the tourdates up through September 1997. The songs themselves are their usual greatness, yet for "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," Bono begins by singing alternative lyrics really softly. He then begins saying, "Seems like a long time, from the parody song and milky way, there's the milky way. Look. Turn off all the lights will you if you can, turn off all the lights if you can. Same band, same four fuckers. Still in love with what we do. Are you in love with what you do? Then you're blessed people. And thank you for sticking it out with us people over the years. Thank you." Pretty emotionally-charged stuff heh? On "Stand By Me," the crowd sings along. Most don't know the lyrics and half way through the song they all start laughing. Happens everywhere. Here's another quote from Bono after he swore, "Don't you hate it when pop stars swear on stage. I hate them." This is the original pressing on this label.
