They played at Grand Targhee where they jammed with String Cheese and David Grisman and they won best band at Telluride last year. Fantastic stuff. Do yourself a favor and don't miss 'em. BTW, I have nothing to gain from this except returning the favor of spreading good music. -Dave Bastian "Live deeply and wrest from life some of it's infinite possibilities..." -Everett Ruess ------ =_NextPart_000_01BD2697.C3392020 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit From: "D. The place used to be the Emerald City (and about a dozen other incarnations) before the Coach House people bought it out. They're in the process of totally remodelling the joint, they've got a *lot* of work to do to get it ready for this weekend's grand opening (George Thorogood one night, Little Feat another, I forget who else is coming in the near term). The club says that the seating capacity is 200, though I'd be surprised if they couldn't make room for a few more. They do the dinner reservation thing for those who are interested. Generally these things tend to be so-so food for around $10-15, but you get preferred seating in the bargain as well. Had a brief chat with the girl at the box office, she said that the venue doesn't have any qualms with taping so long as it's OK with the band, so bring your rigs if you got 'em (I, alas, have nothing portable to use for the occasion). Jim Page is billed as the opener. Tickets are $15, actually $13 with a $2 "handling fee", whatever that is. Sounds like they haven't exactly sold this one out yet, I don't know how many other Salmonites reside in the area... I'm telling everybody I know to get down there, they can thank me later. Gonna be a funky good time! The guy's really great. I have a list with plenty of everything to trade from. I expect them to be back from the printer in a couple of weeks. They simply say: "got tapes?" They're available in 2 sizes.
