In Seattle the band was listening to Jeff's copy of the Throat Singer of Tuva CD on the bus after one of the shows. Tye was trying to "throat sing" along, but was having problems. Baby Gramps was there and told them that he had actually sat in with the Throat Singers of Tuva before. Gramps and Tye "throat sang" for quite a while that night together, sounds like Tye must have finally gotten it down enough to do it live. . . How'd it sound?? And, another Whisperin' Waters encore!?!? we were blessed with that in Seattle as well, and it's sure a hell of a way to end a show!!! /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ Jason Bryan Schwartz Jschwart@gladstone.uoregon.edu "JASON'S PHOTO ALBUM"(last photos added 1/15/98) http://gladstone.uoregon.edu/~jschwart ------ =_NextPart_000_01BD3653.5BF2B4A0 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit From: "michael.page@exemplar.com" To: "Leftover@lists.colorado.edu" Subject: brain damage Date: Tue, 3 Feb 1998 19:00:30 -0500 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Folks, There is no Pink Floyd song called 'Dark Side Of The Moon'. That is the title of the album. The song you all are refering to, played at the Catalyst, is called 'Brain Damage'. Look at the CD, if you don't believe me. If you don't own a copy, go buy it, it's one of the best albums of all time. Or, if you can't afford it, go look in the record store. But whatever you do, please stop calling the song 'Dark Side Of The Moon'. You're going to make my head explode. ;-) Thanks, Mike 'bundt' Page page@exemplar.com bundt@well.com "If we meet a man of rare intellect, we should ask him what book he reads." fortune cookie message ------ =_NextPart_000_01BD3653.5BF2B4A0 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit From: Chris Tweedy To: "Leftover@lists.colorado.edu" , "Leftover@lists.colorado.edu" Subject: Re: brain damage Date: Tue, 3 Feb 1998 19:03:25 -0500 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > But whatever you do, please stop calling the song 'Dark Side Of The > Moon'.
