Just a little bit of info on the Camp Howdy at Merle Fest. Sarah Milan and I've chatted and she's agreed to be the hostess. This makes things easier since I'm camping with her ;) We both will be showing up sometime on Thursday. And we'll be camping in the River's Edge camp grounds. This sight contains a restroom complex along with porta johns and cold water showers. So, if you want to party with us and not have to worry about finding your way into another camp sight or where ever you better reserve your spot soon. There's only a limited number of camp sights at River's Edge. I'll keep you guys up to date on what is going down, or check out http://www.gl.umbc.edu/~msween1 for other information. matt ps Just so everyone knows. There is a limit of four people per sight at River's Edge and we are at our self imposed limit (so we all have room to party) so, if you want to camp with the rest of us you need to reserve a sight. go to http://www.merlefest.org/WhereToStay.html for info on reservations (it's at the bottom). Cya all in Wilkesboro, I'll be the one with the perma grin ;) ------ =_NextPart_000_01BD43B6.FAEF2F50 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit From: Haney Jones To: "leftover@lists.colorado.edu" Subject: Remove Date: Tue, 24 Feb 1998 19:17:47 -0500 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Please take me off this list! OK, here's the deal. Preston DID get back to me. Apparently the record company let some info out around the first of the year. It was preliminary, including the release date, but some folks managed to get it into their "systems" and it never got taken out. What a heulluva way to run a railroad... anyway, the band has made their selection of the tracks and has sent that on the HR. They will have to mull over it and haggle more. It looks like we're talking mid-spring (whatever that is) for a release date -- so, stand "at ease" for you militia types. Preston PROMISED me he'd give us a head's up before it's due (but we'll keep bugging him about it anyway -- right?) Sorry for the confusion. Also, Preston said they updated the official site today and will continue to do so -- especially about spring tour dates. Some of the dates I posted here earlier have, indeed, been confirmed. Others have not. Keep in touch with the official site for confirmed dates. In the mean time, I'll keep the "rumored dates" on the fan site. Just be SURE to check with the official site and venues for the final word. Preston had NO idea where Pollstar got that list (which doesn't mean it won't happen, it just means you have to parse everythingin this world -- just like when the President and/or his spear catchers speak) One thing he assured me of -- when it goes on the official site, it HAS been confirmed -- they venues tear them up for posting rumors. - Bryant ------ =_NextPart_000_01BD43B6.FAEF2F50 Content-Type: message/rfc822 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit From: Robbie Dunn To: "leftover@lists.colorado.edu" Subject: Bama Salmon Setlist?
