I have a few megs of Leftover Webspace that could be put to good use. To make things stay pretty current, I'd need to have people forward setlists fairly soon after the shows. I personally have tapes of approximately 20 shows since the last update on the setlist page, so that's at least a start. I'd also want to do whatever is possible so the setlists could also be imported in to TapeTracker. This is a wonderful progam for keeping track of those tapes (DAT or CASSETTE) and doing up the labels. Anyone got suggestions or feedback for me. Am I crazy? Am I biting off too big a chunk of Salmon? I think the best bet would be to actually enter each show into Tapetracker using the Setlist Helper, and then doing a cut-and-paste of each set into whatever file you're using for the Web page. Actually, if you're going to take this on, you might even contact Steve Zimmerman, the Tapetracker designer,to see if there's a way to do a direct export. > > > Anyone got suggestions or feedback for me. Am I crazy? Am I biting off too > big a chunk of Salmon? Yes! ;) Actually I think it will be very difficult to maintain a Salmon setlist. The reason is that they play SO MANY different songs, including a bunch of traditionals that are only once-in-awhile, and that too many people don't know all the songs. This will likely result in a whole lot of gaps and errors. But I hope you pull it off! It would be fantastic to have a reliable resource (even more so for the reasons I just mentioned). (If you're planning to quit your job for a show, you want to have a "little" warning, right?) Below is the latest, but it still looks like there is room more additions as they become firm. If you want to stay current, it looks like you'll need to check back with the official site pretty often. It also looks like most of the dates from that early posting on the Pollstar site have now been confirmed. Also, I believe all the dates we've "rumored" here have been confirmed except for Ziggy's before Merlefest (which there's still room for) and the LoS/SCI/moe. traveling summer festival thing we saw here about a month ago. The B-J Colliseum (from the Pollstar site) still doesn't look right, especially now that a date the following night in Birminham HAS been confirmed.
